From the time I was a small child, I was always writing little poems for my Mother or Daddy. Through the years, I kept writing and writing until I realized I had quite a collection. This was a source of "therapy," "expressions," and thoughts to friends, relatives and other loved ones. It wasn't on a daily basis I would write ... but just when something touched me and the words began to fall from my "heart" again. A few of my poems have been published, but I have not sought many sources to further this pleasure. Though it may appear to be humorous to some ... I even find myself praying sometimes in rhyme. The words just come out that way. I wish I knew how to write music as I would love to write music to some of the poems. Maybe, in these pages, and music from other gifted people, you will find the right poem, song, or thought, to help you in some way.
Some of these pages have music on them. You have the option of turning it off if you don't want to listen to it. If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer, clicking on the Stop icon on the browser's tool bar will turn it off. If you are using Netscape, you'll see a small gray square near one of the top corners. That square contains the stop button and clicking in the square will make it visible and will turn the music off.
Thank you for stopping by "Poems from the Heart." While you're here, please sign my Guestbook below. I would love to hear from all of you. Now, on to my poems .....
