This week was "Who's Your Teacher?" My teacher was Bajeca and she gave me a variety of tutorials to choose from. I chose to do them all! And had a grand time doing them too. I found a few more sites to bookmark along the way also. Her email with the assignment read as follows:

Lady Barbara

okay, you mentioned something easy
so will give you a choice or two and hope no one else has selected these cause we's want to be original *S*

or
http://home.no.net/sdevine/tutorials/mini/clover/pixelclover.htm
this one is a very short tut, however I would like to see how you could use it to create a background tile (If this is allowed-I think there are wonderful possibilities here)
or
http://www.whisperscorner.com/tuts/potogold/
and one more for good measure just in case none of these work *S* or someone else has already sent these though, hopefully I have found some original ones but haven't had a chance to look at the ones sent through as of yet.

Love and stuff

I think this is one of the cutest blinkies I've seen. Plus one of the easiest. It used selections!!! Bajeca, if you'd like the one with your name on it, you'll have to click on it and it'll take you to a non-right click protected page where you can right click and save it.

As you can see, I did use this next tutorial for my background tile. If it was just a little bigger, there is something else I would have done with it, but I think it turned out just fine like this. I also used it to make the texture on the other tiles.

One thing I failed to tell Bajeca before she gave me my assignment is ... I DON'T DO VECTORS!!!!! It just so happened, that I couldn't get my tubes to work in PSP 7 so switched to PSP 8 to do this tutorial (where my tubes did work ... go figure!). I was part way through the tutorial when I came to the vectors ... which really are easier in PSP 8 if you can find the tools. I actually had to resort to reading the help file ... oh Lordy!! Will wonders never cease!?!

I have to admit to a little cheating with this one. I started Carla's Gingerbread series just after Christmas so already had the base. This series has a gingerbread for every holiday, and they all use the same base. So once you have that done, it's a breeze.

Thank you Bajeca, for the tutorials. I really did have a great time with them and plan to go back to those sites and explore ... I noticed a few more 'pixels' I want to try.
